US History students visited the Union League of Philadelphia today.
The Union League has a professional dress code so we crowd sourced a clothing library in preparation. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
Last minute straightening of the tie!
The space was mind blowing-ly ornate.
Students explored the artwork and the archives. They got to hold a signed copy of the Emancipation Proclamation and a Civil War musket. They read from the only handwritten account of Lincoln’s assassination and studied actual propaganda pamphlets from 1860s.
