The REVchat & Penn State Abington Partnership
Revolution School had the pleasure of hosting a special meeting between 15 students from Penn State Abington and our REVchat students! During the first session, students engaged with AJO founder Ted Aronson and partner Gina Moore, diving into discussions about investments, portfolio management, and financial strategies. The insightful conversation sparked thoughtful questions — at the conclusion, Gina and Ted received a standing ovation!
In the second session, Penn State students engaged in table chats with our REVchat students and consultants. They exchanged ideas about work culture, core values, and the future of work — emphasizing the importance of professional development, competitive salaries, ethics, and work-life integration. These discussions highlighted the next generation’s vision for a meaningful and fulfilling career.
We are excited about these growing connections and look forward to more opportunities for collaboration!

FIELDWORK
Grades 9 and 10
Our students worked to collect data for a civics project centered around why people vote. Some walked North toward City Hall, some walked West to Rittenhouse Square, and some walked East to Washington Square. They interviewed people they do not know about why they vote.
Vote That Jawn
Revolution students attended the Vote That Jawn event at City Hall! They heard from City leaders about voting and governance. Students learned about action steps for young people to get others registered and make a plan to vote. Our students were especially interested in hearing from college students about how youth voting impacts their local communities. Shout out to Mae, Asher, and January for attending!

Civics
9th and 10th grade students interviewed faculty members about the 2024 Election. All of their questions were centered around “why are you voting?”
