Business Communications Workshop — May 28–31
Stafford Wood will be leading our 11th and 12th grade students through Week 2 of the workshop she created to teach and strengthen the essential communication skills for success in any workplace.

REVchat — Revolution School’s Summer Internship Program
We will be offering summer internship spots to interested, motivated students who want to continue the work of our Business Communications Workshop (described above). There will be three 2-week sessions beginning Monday, July 8. More details to follow this week!

Presentation of Learning — Wed June 5
Join us to celebrate our year of learning! Students will showcase their favorite projects and will recognize our community partners for their support. This event will be held in UArts Terra Hall from 10:00–11:30 am. Please RSVP for the event here!

Grades 9–10
Students will finish editing their films — they will have their normal lunch block and choose to pack or buy.
Grades 11–12
Students will continue working with Stafford Wood on the Business Communications Workshop — they will have their normal lunch block and can choose to pack or buy.

Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival

College Essay Guy
Students are invited to register for a two-part webinar about how to write a personal statement and create an outstanding college application. The sessions will take place from 4–5pm on May 28 and June 4. If you cannot make the live sessions, you can still register and receive a video recording of the program sent to your email. COMMUNITY-BUILDING & CURRICULAR HIGHLIGHTS

Grades 9 and 10
Students watched the film Chan is Missing (1982). After watching, students discussed the themes of the movie with members of the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival.

Grades 11 and 12
Students took part in a Business Communications Workshop with Stafford Wood. Students practiced various professional skills including introductions, networking, interviewing, future goals, and professional writing!

US Literature
Anthony Bracy led a book chapter writing exercise for his classmates.

|
|
Community-Building
9th and 10th grade students played a competitive game of Scattergories. Fun was had by all!
