Ninth Grade Mathematics
At Revolution, we pride ourselves on providing students with a personalized program that helps them to work to their full potential. As part of our effort to deliver the best mathematics experience, we are delighted to announce that we will be offering two 9th grade math classes. Early next week, we will be assessing our 9th grade students to determine their areas of strength and challenge. Based on those results, we will consider placement for each student in one of our two math classes (one taught by Patrick, and one by Antonio). We will share more information about this in the coming weeks!

Safe2Say Something Student Training
This fall, Revolution School students and staff will participate in the Safe2Say Something training program, provided by the Office of the Pennsylvania Attorney General. This vital program teaches both youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals —especially within social media — of individuals who may pose a threat to themselves or others. Participants will learn how to “say something” before a tragedy occurs. Our students will be trained on October 22 during community meeting time.
The Safe2Say Something system makes it easy and confidential to report safety concerns that can help prevent violence. Here’s how it works:
Submit an anonymous tip through the Safe2Say Something system via the app, website, or phone
The crisis center reviews, assesses, and processes all submissions
The crisis center then sends the submissions to school administration and/or law enforcement for appropriate intervention
If needed, the crisis center may contact the tipster anonymously for additional information through the app
We encourage you to download the Safe2Say Something app and save the phone number 1-844-SAF2SAY in your contacts to report any concerns quickly and confidentially. This resource is critical in fostering a safe environment for everyone. Please reach out to ivy@revolutionschool.org with any questions you may have.
