College Counseling Corner
Eleventh-grade families and students should have received an email from me as a follow up on the practice SAT and to schedule one-on-one meetings to discuss the college application process. I look forward to hearing back from you with your availability and connecting with everyone soon!
Additionally, the college visiting season is heating up. I suggest making a plan with your eleventh grader to visit a few local colleges this winter and spring. Here are some dates that we have no school but most colleges do: February 17 March 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 April 1, 15, 18 May 3. Consider Saint Joes, Temple, Jefferson, Swarthmore, University of the Sciences, Chestnut Hill College, Villanova, Cheyney, Lincoln, Cabrini, Rosemont, Arcadia, Bryn Mawr, Rutgers Camden, Penn State Abington, West Chester, Widener, and/or Franklin & Marshal.
Lastly, we will start a weekly SAT class for all eleventh graders during their study hall soon. As always, feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions!
