Vaccine Policy Updates
Students who have been fully vaccinated may return to school 3 full days after they receive their 2nd shot. Please update your vaccination status HERE before your first in-person day.
Students who are unvaccinated may not join field work as we wish to be consistent with our in-school policy for unvaccinated students. We will continue to work to provide virtual options for those who are remote.
Vaccine Q&A with Dr. Vicki Bralow
We’ve heard from our students and families that they have vaccine-related questions. With so much information – and misinformation – out there, we’re grateful that Dr. Vicki Bralow has agreed to help answer these questions. On Monday, September 27 from 7;00 – 8:00 PM, Dr. Bralow will join us to share the latest evidence-based information on the Delta variant, vaccines, and answer your questions live. Zoom link will be forthcoming.

Students from UPenn’s Positive Psychology Lab worked with RVLTN school students this week during School of Thought Seminar to explore ideas for how we might infuse wellness into the Revolution School experience. They came up with so many great ideas! Here’s a short list: spending time in nature, mentorship opportunities, mindfulness training, exposure to new things and ability to experiment, service learning programming, clubs, sports and wellness activities.
During launch week, teams of students hit the pavement (and crawled the web) to get to know our city through a photo scavenger hunt. Essential Stops included City Hall, the William Way Center and Colorful Wings mural at 13th & Chancellor Street (pictured above). Other stops required a bit more creativity like finding a stranger wearing Phillies/Eagles/76ers gear, a food for which Philly is famous. and an area where you might read.
