Sign Up for Student-Led Parent Conferences

Virtual student-led Parent Conferences with advisors are this Friday! Most teaching staffulty will also be available during the course of the day to consult with students, advisors, or parents if there are particular questions about specific courses or First Quarter Progress Reports. Q1 Progress Reports will be posted via Educate on Wednesday October 26 so all will have a couple days to read and reflect on them.

If you have not signed up for a conference spot yet, please do by advisory here:

Conference Zoom links are accessible during sign up. If you have questions about conferences, please reach out to your student’s advisor directly.

Family School Tours

Come visit our new learning space! Family school tours are in-person, on-campus and can be scheduled during the school day starting the week of November 1. CLICK HERE to save your spot!

*At this time, we require all individuals be fully immunized to visit on-campus

ASSET Update

ASSET (After School Student Enrichment Time) will be offered three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and will be devoted to extra study–and/or tutoring–time for those students who need it or opt to take advantage of this opportunity.

ASSET will start on Tuesday, November 2 and be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:45 – 5:00PM. ASSET attendance will be voluntary for students in good academic standing and mandatory for students with missing work or substandard grades. ASSET attendance will be part of the agenda at all the virtual student-led Parent Conferences on Friday 10/29. Students, advisors and parents will look together at the Q1 Reports to help determine for whom ASSET is voluntary and for whom it is mandatory.

Have questions? Reach out to Mike: mike@revolutionschool.org.

SEPTA Strike?

It sounds very likely that Septa will strike on Monday. We talked to the students about planning for alternate transportation with families over the weekend. If students cannot make it in, they will be allowed to Zoom in using the regular classroom links.

Can’t get enough of the spring-like weather!

Science demos in Chemistry class!

“Hope Project” work with Dr. Caroline Connolly’s positive education students. RVLTN Students shared their goals for five years from now and work with mentors on an activity to articulate how to get there.
