Washington D.C. Field Expedition

To Do —> Parents, please complete the Washington DC Trip Form by Monday, April 25 and indicate if you are able to join us. We have space in the bus but need a headcount for tickets. All students are expected to attend this trip.

The Details —> The trip will be on Wednesday, May 18th. We’ll depart from and return to Revolution School. We’ll leave at 8:15 AM, and get back to Philly at approximately 9:30 PM. We’ll have lunch and dinner in DC.

What To Expect —> African American History is integrated through the US History curriculum this year, and the National Museum of African American History & Culture has so much that meshes with the events, documents, and people we have studied. In DC, we will also see the US Capitol, the White House, the Supreme Court, the Smithsonian, the Lincoln Memorial, the MLK Memorial, and more.
