Community Service in Morris Park Next Friday

Joel has been working with the Community Service Club to plan a day of outdoor community service in Morris Park on Friday, May 27th. Students will need to bring a bag lunch and wear clothing and shoes that can get dirty. Morris Park will provide gloves and tools for us to do trail maintenance and restore a spring. Afterwards we will walk to the Overbrook Environmental Education Center, which is dedicated to environmental education, conservation, public health and personal enrichment.

SAT Scores Now Available

11th grade students can now log in to the College Board website to get their SAT scores! Please send Joel an email with both scores. We will review them in our college counseling class on Monday.

Community Book Club

We invite our entire Revolution School Community to join our students in reading this year’s One Book, One Philadelphia choice, My Broken Language. As a culminating project, students will host an interactive book club on June 1. Join us!

Graduation & Moving Up Ceremony, June 11

Summer REVternship Update

Students are preparing to make their REVternship choices, with the goal of confirmation by May 27th. Last week, they wrote professional emails of interest to hosts, and this week was spent following up with in-person connections, professional Zoom calls, and emails to REVterns hosts, as they ask questions and make their choices. Lots of incredible proactive work by REVterns! Ask your student what choice they’ve made or what they think they will make by the present deadline!

What advice would you give REVterns? Our hosts give answers in this short video.

Pajama day! Our first student organized spirit week was a ton of fun!
