Senior Portraits Next Tuesday: At present, we only have one student signed up for an appointment. If you wish to have your senior’s portrait taken, you must book your student’s appointment and choose your graduation package here. New Q3 Schedule: We are excited to announce a new Q3 Schedule for students. Please check your email/ Educate for the full letter with all academic highlights!


ASSET is for everyone: We continue to encourage students to take advantage of ASSET, Mondays-Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 pm. In addition, all Revolution teachers and staff will post office hours for assistance during break and/or Study Groups.


Senior Planning Committee Meeting: Senior parents are welcome to join us for a Senior Planning Committee Meeting on February 6th from 4:30-5:15 pm before the upcoming Revolution Potluck Dinner. We would love your input and support as we begin planning for our Revolution School milestone events–Prom, Graduation and a possible Leadership Retreat! Please let us know if you can join us. 


Sneakers for Wellness: Students must come prepared with sneakers for Wellness on Mondays and Wednesdays to comply with the rules at Planet Fitness. Students who do not bring sneakers may not do their workout and will need to stay at school during that class time. 


Price-fixe lunch: We are piloting a new lunch program in partnership with EZCater to offer students a lower-priced lunch option. For $25, students will enjoy three lunches per week. To participate, students must sign up and pay by cash or Cash App here by Wednesday, February 8.  


Meet the Mayor Series: Mayoral candidate, Rebecca Rhynhart, will be joining us at 8:15am on Friday, February 10 for a student-led conversation about her platform and vision for Philadelphia. We encourage all students to arrive early for the special event. 

Opportunity Expo for Fieldwork: Thursday January 26th was our second Opportunity Expo. Community partners from Sharing Excess, Saxby’s, FarmerJawn, Circular Philly, DumpNRoll, Seeing Happy and Broad Street Ministry joined us to share opportunities, learn about our students, and uncover potential collaborations. Students led the event by introducing partners and facilitating conversations Bravo to our students for an impressive afternoon!


REC Philly: Revolution students visited REC Philly to create videos as a part of their Digital Art class on Monday. They returned on Thursday to continue their projects and to meet a young financier and documentarian, Kunal Pathade, who not only supported their video production but also shared his own wellness journey.


Nominate a Student to Enter the I Am Philly Contest! PhillyGoes2College In partnership with Wawa Welcome America and Vanguard accepting submissions to the I Am Philadelphia Contest! This contest highlights and celebrates the aspirations of our city’s young residents. Philadelphia high school students can submit original works in one of four categories:

  • Music
  • Visual Art
  • Spoken word
  • Investment

Winners of each category will receive one-of-a-kind prizes, including the opportunity to perform or display their work at this summer’s Wawa Welcome America Festival (June 19 through July 4, 2023) and a $1,000 prize per category winner! Submissions are open NOW and will close April 14, 2023.

Advance College Experience: ACE Your Summer Experience with Us: See what it’s like to be in college with Community College of Philadelphia’s summer ACE (Advanced College Experience) program. An opportunity that you will never forget, ACE provides college-level courses for highly motivated students going into 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades, as well as students up to age 21 pursuing a high school equivalency credential. Through ACE, you can make new friends, explore a career interest, study timely and relevant issues, and earn college credit.
